  • A bit dry and cakey

I'm on the fence about this foundation. The color is GORGEOUS on my skin and it would probably work really well with oily skin. On my dry skin it is a bit hard to spread. I tried it on top of the primer and I find it almost "curdles" and balls up a bit so it's hard to get enough of it on.

I ordered this liquid foundation as a sample. It works perfect for my skin and will be definitely order it again.

  • Best Liquid Foundation

Posted by Rose on 13th Feb 2017

I have had some very serious skin issues and finding natural makeup that actually covers without irritating my skin has been a chore. I got a bunch of samples from the most popular brands of natural makeup and this was by far the best coverage and the best price. I wanted a liquid makeup instead of powder because my skin is terribly dry. I do have to put moisturizer on before this but it doesn't cause me any issues. I'm so grateful to have found this. Please benefit from my vast experience! You won't find a better quality full coverage liquid foundation for a better price. Right now I'm mixing atlantic bisque and northern lights together. Both colors seem to work really good for my very light, neutral skin. I've heard the arctic alabaster is way too light for your average pale girl and the Ivory one was really yellow orange on me and a bit too dark. If you want a cream foundation that provides full coverage instead of liquid, the Lauren Brooke Creme foundation was the only one I've found that did the trick and would be even better for dry skin. I mostly wear that in the winter. I used to wear RMS beauty "un-coverup" but it was way more expensive for less product and slightly less coverage. Anyways, if you have sensitive skin that needs full coverage then this liquid foundation is one of the very few products that actually delivers. Trust me, I've tried everything.

  • A favourite in my skin care regime!

I am so pleased to be using a natural and cruelty free product, and support a business in Canada. The cost is equal to the make up I was previously buying; but didn't match my change of values. Therefore I am glad to have Pure Anada make up to use. Coverage is great, using a foundation brush to blend, goes on light and doesn't become oily through my day.

  • Great Foundation

I tried a few samples to find my right shade. I find it a tad dry but once I apply it with my makeup sponge it blends great. I was looking for a natural liquid foundation. This will be what I buy from now on!

  • Lovely Product

This foundation surprised me. I have a very difficult skin tone to match, as I am very fair but look more like a medium, and have neither warm nor cool undertones. This is the first foundation that actual matches my skin, and looks very natural. I love the formulation, very creamy and blends really well. I also love how it finishes, no tackiness or heaviness on the skin. This foundation was well worth purchasing, and I love how it feels on the skin!

  • Very good foundation

I like this foundation a lot, I feel it is a medium to full-coverage. I first took my fingers to dab it and I was not satisfied. Then I tried a Beauty-Blender, it was better but not perfect. Now I take my fingers to 'massage' it into my skin and it was the best technique for me. I did'nt try it yet with a flat brush... Maybe it would work well too. I like the texture, not too dry, not too oily, and it gives a natural finish.

  • Nice Coverage

This is a thicker foundation than I'm used to wearing, so with the first application of the sample I ordered, I definitely over did it and had to do a little extra work to make it blend nicely. But, once I decided to purchase the full-size, I also got the foundation brush, which helps blend the foundation nicely. I have acne-prone skin, so this product does a better job of covering blemishes than other lightweight foundations.

I would definitely recommend getting several samples first, as I never would have ordered the correct color without doing so. I ordered 5 samples, and quickly realized that although I have "cool" toned skin, those colors did not match my skin, and I ended up ordering the neutral color instead. For only $1/each, you get quite a bit of product and the peace of mind that you're ordering the correct full-size color!

  • way to dark

Posted by corey annis on 4th Apr 2016

I bought atlantic bisque because it said it was very fair. However its not. It is to dark for me to even get away with wearing. So if you are fair, i would try the very lightest shade first. And if thats to light, mix it with atlantic bisque. But the foundation its self is good. It did cling a little around my nose but its really hard to find anything that doesnt. But its not a bad foundation. You just wanna have the right shade. It also has good coverage. I would say medium to full.
