Does Pure Anada make a true red lipstick?

We only use natural minerals to tint our lip products.  For that reason, it is impossible to produce a true, cool red shade.  To do so, we would need to use synthetic dyes.   We do make two shades of lipstick that are as close to red as we can get, while still staying true to our ingredient philosophy.  “Poppy” is tinted with iron oxides.  Once it touches the skin, it transforms into a deep, warm red.  “Ruby” is tinted with a blend of micas to produce a glamorous cherry pink red shade.

Do all your lip colors have a satin sheen?  Can you produce more matte lip colors?

Once again, it comes down to staying true to using natural elements to tint our products. The only option for achieving a wide variety of matte lip colors would be to use synthetic dyes and lakes.   We choose to use a blend of iron oxides and micas to color our lip products.  This naturally results in a soft satin sheen.

Does Pure Anada lipstick last all day?

Our lipstick holds up really well!  The natural oils and butters soak into your skin, leaving the mineral pigment on your lips for hours.  You will have to touch it up after eating.
