One of the joys of operating a successful business, is the privilege of giving back to our community, both locally and globally.

In its infancy, Pure Anada was motivated by Candace (founder) and her husband’s desire to adopt a child from Ethiopia. Candace crafted the cosmetics in her kitchen and sold them at local craft sales and fairs. Each event brought them closer to raising enough funds to adopt their daughter Olivia. Little did they know, that their fundraiser would end up being their family’s full time livelihood!

With so many needs in our world, we choose to focus our attention on organizations that help to specifically support women and children in need – since this is the heart of our business.

At Pure Anada we actively support our locally charitable organizations by participating in their fundraising efforts. These include:

Genesis House Local Women’s Shelter – (Fundraising Events)

Katie Cares Local Hospital Guest Home – (Annual Fashion Show Fundraiser)

Boundary Trails Palliative Care (Donation towards fundraising events)

Morden Area Foundation Pay it Forward (Community Building)

South Central Cancer Resource Centre (Natural Beauty Workshops)

Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Support Group (Donations to fundraising auction)

Ronald MacDonald Winnipeg Hospital Guest Home – (Product in welcome packs)

$2.00 from EVERY Princess Pack sold is donated to Compassion Canada. To date, Pure Anada has donated over $5000 to rescue children from poverty in Jesus name.

Pure Anada is currently working on a project to support women in Ethiopia to start their own businesses (micro-financing, equipment loans, etc). We have both short, and long term plans and hope to announce our involvement by the end of 2018.

Cancer Care Beauty Workshops

Beautiful You – South Central Manitoba

Once a month we host educational workshops for cancer patients in our local boutique. We teach them how to use natural cosmetics to accentuate their (possible) changing physical appearance during the cancer treatment process. Though the effort is to encourage the cancer patients, we have found our hearts so encouraged in return by the grace and good spirit of those going through such hard times. This outreach has left us encouraged and inspired to do more and more for others.

Contact the South Central Cancer Resource Centre for more information.

Cancer Chic – Calgary Alberta

Pure Anada partners with Cancer Chic to provide makeup products for their events. For more information, contact Cancer Chic.
