Pressed Foundation - Surprising NEW Ingredients

Pressed Foundation - Surprising NEW Ingredients

We’re always seeking to upgrade our formulas as new raw materials become available to us in the natural product industry. We recently enhanced our pressed mineral foundation formula - adding some of the most beautiful, eco-luxurious powders we could find.

Our first addition is a finely micronized pink carrot pigment, which lends a soft rosy hue to the mineral base and beautifully balances the overall color profile. Its vibrant purplish-pink tone comes from a high concentration of anthocyanins—powerful antioxidants known to support skin health.

To complement this, we’ve also incorporated finely milled blue gardenia flowers, chosen to gently cool the natural warmth often found in mineral pigments. This luxurious, exotic botanical not only soothes sensitive skin but also adds a delicate floral scent, naturally offsetting the earthy aroma of raw minerals.

Zinc oxide has always been a star ingredient in our formula—known for its soothing properties that help calm and protect irritated or sensitive skin.

Suitable for all skin types, Pure Anada’s pressed mineral foundation is especially ideal for oily skin and mid-day touch-ups. It offers buildable coverage—from sheer to full—with a natural matte finish.

For best results, cleanse and moisturize your skin, then apply Smooth Priming Serum to create a smooth base. Use a Flat Top Foundation Brush for full coverage or a Blending Face Brush for a lighter finish.

Our pressed foundation is available in a reusable, eco-friendly cardboard compact, a refill pan designed to fit perfectly inside the compact, and a sample/trial size pressed into our standard eyeshadow pan—ideal for testing your shade or for travel.

Pro Tip! Struggling with oily eyelids that cause your eyeshadow to crease or settle into fine lines? Try priming your eyelids with our pressed powder foundation before applying eyeshadow - for extra staying power.  This is where our small sample (eyeshadow-sized) foundation comes in handy. If pressed isn’t your go-to foundation, having a smaller size just for eyelids is a convenient solution.
