Farmapothecary Body Tallow Balm

We’ve taken our Canadian, grass-fed tallow and combined it with extra-virgin olive oil. Like tallow, it features high levels of antioxidants and essential fatty acids, helping to protect and nourish skin.

TEXTURE: Prairie Farmapothecary Body Tallow Balm is rich, smooth, and concentrated. Only a small amount of product is needed with each use. If it experiences warm temperatures, the tallow will liquify. This doesn’t affect the beneficial properties of the ingredients. Simply let it harden again at room temperature or in a refrigerator.

SCENT: Our Body Tallow Balm smells sweet and herbaceous. The simple combination of sweet orange and lavender essential oil is both calming and refreshing.

ABOUT TALLOW: Uniquely compatible to our own skin's biology, tallow is comprised of 50% saturated fat. Our skin's cell membranes are also composed of 50% saturated fat, which makes tallow a nourishing food for our skin. Grass-fed tallow is also loaded with vitamins A, D, E, and K. Prairie Farmapothecary tallow is sourced from small farms and beef processors in our local area.

HOW TO USE: Apply sparingly to any body parts in need of soothing, intense moisture – from lips to toes, hands or heals.
